Airline offers special deals to give travellers greater savings
QATAR Airways has launched a series of airfare deals for Malaysia-based travellers this month.
With discounts of up to 40%, passengers can choose from more than 100 destinations in Europe, the United States, Middle East and South Africa to explore.
Promotional fares are available until March 24, with travel from March 13 until Jan 31, 2018.
Travellers will also have the opportunity to travel with friends and family as Qatar Airways offers progressive discounts of up to 50% if they buy more seats.
“It is that time of the year when most of us are planning our holidays in advance to take advantage of great savings.
“With our progressive discount, holidaymakers can witness the stunning architecture of the Eiffel Tower at just RM2,409 per person when you travel in a group of three, or stroll among the picturesque tulip fields of the Keukenhof Gardens in Amsterdam at only RM2,299 per person.
“The savings increase with the number of companions joining you on the trip,” said Qatar Airways Malaysia and Brunei country manager Datuk Muzammil Mohamad.
“For those hoping to take a long-awaited trip around the world, now would be the perfect time to enjoy some great savings.
“Our presence in the Oneworld Alliance means we are able to offer an extended global network for business and leisure travellers, reaching almost 1,000 destinations in more than 150 countries,” he added.
Apart from London, Paris and New York, customers can also consider new destinations such as Nice (France), Dublin (Ireland) and Skopje (Macedonia), which Qatar Airways will be launching in the later months of 2017 and 2018 as part of its travel plans.
Qatar Airways offers three flights a day from Kuala Lumpur to more than 150 destinations via Hamad International Airport (HIA), Doha.
HIA recently was awarded the five-star rating by Skytrax, the only airport in the Middle East and one of only six airports in the world to receive this accolade.
While waiting for their next flight, travellers can make the most of their stopover in Doha with the complimentary tour, courtesy of Qatar Airways and Qatar Tourism Authority. Visit key landmarks including The Pearl-Qatar for the finest quality shops and restaurants and the Souq Waqif for traditional jewellery, spices and handicrafts.
For those with a longer transit time (between five and 96 hours), they can apply for the complimentary 96-hour transit visa to explore Qatar in greater detail.
In addition, Qatar Airways offers 2,000 bonus Qmiles when travellers make their first booking online and 500 Qmiles for each subsequent booking online as a member.
