Liow: MCA is ready for Bentong challenge

BENTONG: Be it a multi-corner or a straight fight, MCA is ready to face the challenge here, says Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.

The Bentong MP, who will be defending the parliamentary seat, was commenting on the multi-corner fight after DAP's Wong Tack and PAS supporters club chairman N. Balasubramaniam were announced as candidates.

"Most importantly, the rakyat must choose a representative who will serve the people.

"This MP must be able to lead and utilise government resources to grow Bentong," he said.

Liow, who is also MCA president and Transport Minister, was speaking to reporters at the launch of the Karak Gallery here Sunday (April 22).

The gallery, which utilises a vacant space above the wet market at the Karak town centre, seeks to be an arts and heritage hub for tourists and locals.
