Man's body found in Batu Caves

KUALA LUMPUR: The body of a man, believed to have been beaten up and left for dead, has been found in front of a supermarket in Batu Caves here.

Police received a call at around 2am on Saturday, informing them that there was a man sprawled on the ground.

When they arrived, they found the man, believed to be in his 40s, clad in a blue shirt and black trousers.

He was pronounced dead by medical workers at the scene.

Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Fadzil Ahmat said police are investigating the case as murder.
