Special promo to mark Malaysia Day

PENANG-BASED property developer Aspen Group will be giving away Ikea products worth up to RM50,000 in conjunction with Malaysia Day celebrations.

Drop by the group’s Aspen Vision City Sales Gallery in Batu Kawan on the mainland for the Sneak and Pick event from 10am to 2pm on Saturday and Sunday.

The first 400 each day will get a chance to freely pick any Ikea products they fancy from the selection available, up to a maximum value of RM60 per person.

Aspen Group president and chief executive officer Datuk M. Murly said the giveaway was meant to celebrate 60 years of nationhood.

“It is open to Malaysians only.

“We also want to give visitors a sneak peak of what will be available at the first northern region Ikea store once it opens its doors in early 2019.

“Every Malaysian is welcome to the event, and they can pick anything they like for free,” said Murly.

Other than the Sneak and Pick giveaway, there will also be food trucks from Ikea serving its famous meatballs, cinnamon rolls and hotdogs. In addition, local coffee brewer Miscela will be serving its signature house brew to all.

“We will specially bring over Ikea’s famous meatballs to satisfy the cravings of its many fans over these two days,” he said.

The queue for the Sneak and Pick will open from 7am, with the picking set to start around 10am.

So mark your calendars and bring back some of the Swedish brand’s popular products.

Aspen Vision City is the Group’s flagship development, jointly developed with Ikea Southeast Asia on 99ha of freehold land in Batu Kawan.
